Two weeks after our last visit, we were invited back to the De-Addiction Center in Hat. The Kullu Project presence here has previously been intermittent; however we are looking to make the center a focus of the project going forward. The KP has close ties with the de-addiction center as the founder of the KP's brother Panki, had formerly battled with addiction, and since his recovery has become a strong supporter of the de-addiction center, founded several successful organizations and projects of his own, and become a role model for others struggling with substance abuse.

We spent an hour with the gentleman at the de-addiction center playing some music of our own and listening to songs they wanted to play for us. It’s a much appreciated break from their strict schedule, and they all seemed to enjoy the hour. Classic rock is a favorite among the group, and I was elated when there was even a request for some Bob Dylan! We will continue to visit once every few weeks.
