MOVIE DAY!
Becca and I were able to acquire a projector to use at both the orphanages.
The kids were all very excited to create a makeshift movie theatre right at home! For Seva Bharti, as the group there is a bit older, we gave them a few options of movies we had. We have with us only movies in English, and therefore tried to provide options that were not so dialogue centric. They settled on Jurassic World, which contained enough action to keep the boys entertained.
For the Kalyehli Orphanage, as some of the children there are quite young, we put on one of our favorites; WALL-E. This was a hit! The movie relies very little on dialogue, and has a fantastic message. The entire group seemed to really enjoy the film.
It was nice to have a bit more of a relaxed Sunday afternoon with both orphanages. Although we were adamant that we will not be watching movies ALL the time, we have promised to bring back the projector at some point as everyone had too much fun!
