Wednesday June 13th

Today was a bit more relaxed of a session, we focused on learning the names of fruits and vegetables in English.

We brought with us worksheets, with black and white outlines of various fruits and vegetables, for the boys to color and label.  Although we had more planned, it turned out that these worksheets occupied the duration of our session.

The boys were on particularly good behavior as there were two members of the government, who oversee the government orphanages, in attendance.  This worked to our advantage, as the boys sat contently and filled out their worksheets, all of them eager to show us their individual progress.  The orphanage staff were also very satisfied with day's activity, as the the government visitors were impressed with the KP educational initiative, and how well behaved the children were.  They even took time to come down from the office and assist the younger ones with the English names of all the fruits and veg.

We were happy to continue to project the organization in a positive light to those outside of the orphanage, as we feel the KP is truly doing great work!
